The full report analyzes trends across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, including which days of the week see the most search by region, top destinations searched by destination type, and a spotlight on June travel broken down by region.

To aid hotel and resort teams in strategic planning of summer marketing campaigns, here are some key takeaways most relevant to North American interests, with a focus on June and the beginning of the summer travel season.

Summer Search Trends for North America

As most schools let out in June, the summer travel season kicks off in earnest.

In addition to interest in early June travel dates, June 30 appeared at the top of the list for departure dates searched. As the date falls on the Friday before the 4th of July weekend, travelers appear to be planning extended weekend celebrations.
