Everyone dreams of staying in a luxury hotel for their vacation getaway, but have you ever dreamed of staying in accommodations as unique as these properties? These five mind-blowing hotels are prime examples of just how crazy your luxury getaway could be.

Hôtel de Glace

Make your way to Quebec, Canada to experience this bone-chilling hotel . Hôtel de Glace, which translates to Ice Hotel, is made entirely out of ice and only open for 3 months out of the year. Stay in one of 42 breathtaking snow vaults equipped with themed ice sculptures and wall carvings. These frigid rooms stay between 23 and 27 degrees Fahrenheit at all times so don’t forget your wool socks! Who wouldn’t want to stay in a luxury igloo?!

Das Park

If you prefer a sustainable (much warmer) and eco-friendly hotel experience, Das Park in Austria is the perfect fit for you. Rooms are built out of recycled concrete sewage pipes, but don’t worry, they’ve been cleaned out! The use of this accommodation will not only put unused material to use but offers a ‘pay as you please’ price. You can pay what you can afford for the room in order to help maintain the hotel's sustainable project.

Henn na Hotel

One company based out of Japan has created a ‘strange’ chain of hotels taking over Asia. Travel into the future and check-in to this robot staffed hotel where robots manage all receptionist and housekeeping responsibilities. These hotels have over 100 rooms and only hire about 7 actual people on property. Henn na Hotel is expected to increase profits tremendously with reducing the need for a man-powered system.

Conestoga Ranch

Before staying at Conestoga Ranch, you’ve got to ask yourself: Is Glamping right for you? Glamping, a hybrid term for glamorous and camping, has become a worldly trend for people who enjoy the serenity of the outdoors with the comfort of home. Stargaze in the wilderness of Bear Lake, Utah when you choose to stay in a fully furnished wagon style or tent room equipped with running water and heat.

Free Spirit Spheres

Finally, get away to the majestic Pacific Northwest Rainforest and rest inside a unique spherical treehouse at the Free Spirit Spheres. This treehouse accommodation is sure to get you up close to nature in the coastal rainforests of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Here, your spherical shaped room looks like an acorn suspended in the branches of trees and can hang up to 100 feet off the rainforest floor. The huts are made from wood and finished with a fiberglass shell.People around the world are raving about these unique experiences.
